Kyriakos Georgiou is a freelance Photographer, Filmmaker and Editor.

With over 10 years experience in the industry, Kyri has a strong knowledge of film and photography. He has worked with a large number of independent and high profile clients to gather a wide understanding of different client needs. Kyri is passionate about telling stories from his perspective and sharing his love for art and creativity with others.

Initially trained as a photographer, Kyri developed his technical skills into Filmmaking and Directing. Winning several Awards and international press coverage for his short ‘When Life Gives You Lemons’. Kyriakos is also a proficient video editor. Specialising in the Adobe Creative Suite and Final Cut Pro. He has worked on an array of projects from music videos, advertisements, short films to feature films. 

In 2020 Kyriakos founded The South London Film Festival and managed to reach over 600 submissions in the first three months from over 32 countries across the world. The Winner of Best Narrative Short that year went on to receive an Oscar Nomination. 

Outside of the industry, Kyri has an affection for teaching and learning. He worked in the education sector for a number of years, sharing his specialist knowledge of film and photography with students, some of which have gone on to have credible careers in the industry.
